Project Site

The Raceway Solar Project is a 400 megawatt (MW) solar farm currently under development in Kern County, California. The Project site consists of seven parcels that encompass approximately 1,854 acres.

Project Benefits


This project WILL GENERATE TENS OF MILLIONS OF DOLLARS from local sales tax revenues, local jobs, wages, and induced spending.

Over the lifetime of the project, it will contribute at least $7 MILLION TO KERN COUNTY that can be used for essential services and programs such as POLICE, FIRE, AND EDUCATION.

Approximately 600 CONSTRUCTION JOBS will be created by this proposed solar project.

This project will OFFSET OVER 400,000 TONS OF CARBON DIOXIDE per year, making the air cleaner.
